Annie Lumsden (she/her) and Lena Moon (she/her) are Melbourne/Naarm based performers, writers and comedians, who are all about farts, friendship, and feeling good. Lena has a background in improvised comedy and screenwriting, Annie is an actor and presenter. They’ve respectively worked on Neighbours, Adult Swim, Thank God You’re Here, and Aunty Donna (Various), among many others.
Their debut show together, This Is Our Pilot was nominated for Best Comedy at the Melbourne Fringe Festival 2019. Their second show This Is Our Show sold out its Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2021 season, was nominated for a Green Room Award, and was turned into a Live Stream and On Demand comedy special titled This Is Our Show The Livestream via Stupid Old Studios Presents. Other SOS Presents acts include Double Denim, Jude Pearl, Xavier Michelides, Do Go On Live and many others.
Their third offering Different Now received rave reviews and toured nationally. Most recently the girls wrote and performed Annie and Lena Have a Talk Show at the Malthouse for MICF 2024.
The pair also created self-titled comedic web series Annie and Lena in collaboration with Stupid Old Studios, made possible with a City of Melbourne COVID-19 Arts Grant.

Annie and Lena are bringing a wild night of all the talk show hits: Celebrities (played by us), Musical Guests (also us), and, most likely, some classic Annie and Lena sketches (played by us). Come with the duo as they skewer the highs and lows of showbiz through sketch, improv, characters and, of course, musical numbers they wish they had backup dancer budgets for. You think you’ve seen talk shows before, but not like this.

In 2020 Annie and Lena created their first web series with a COVID Quick Arts brand. They co-produced this series with Stupid Old Studios and shot with a skeleton crew per lockdown restrictions.
